A Message of Hope from Dr. Branyon and Breast Cancer Survivor, Jackie Carter
Dr. Branyon:
Hi! I'm Dr. Branyon of New Hope Unlimited, This month October is breast cancer awareness month; and I was just watching the news the other morning and heard the statistic that this disease is now taking the lives, precious lives of a hundred and thirty-two people a day.
Over the past twenty years or more, we have seen so many breast cancer patients here at New Hope Unlimited, which consists of women and also men. It's now a disease that doesn't care about who we are, what we have, what we don't have, or even what gender we are. As I was sitting and trying to think of what I want it to say to you, I decided that my message needed to be one of hope.
In today's world, it's easy to lose sight of hope. Please, please don't lose sight of hope, don't let that happen.
So I decided, instead of (you) listening to me. I would like to introduce you to a marvelous lady named Jackie Carter. Jackie has worn the shoes of a breast cancer patient and knows exactly the walk you may be walking. I've asked her to give you her tips on how she conquered breast cancer and won. Thank you, Jackie, so much for taking the time to help us.
Jackie:
I did go through the regular protocol, and I met with an oncologist and surgeon. My first visit with the oncologist, he gave me three orders my first visit, he ordered me off the internet, he told me that I could never talk to anybody else about my cancer and he told me to never cancel an appointment. Well, he couldn’t talk to me that day about my treatment options because he didn’t have the 3rd page of my pathology report, so I'd like to come back for 2nd visit. On my 2nd visit, he comes into the exam room and announces that he’s got good news, the best news that I can think of was that he made a mistake and that I don’t have cancer; but his good news was the opposite of good news, he told me that I was a triple-negative, he knew at that point that I have no idea what it meant to be triple-negative because if I knew then what I know now I would have definitely corrected him, because it is the most resistant to chemical-based treatments; but I asked him why is that good news? He says, “cause I can offer you chemo.”; but when I told him I don't like chemo or radiation numerous times, his response back to me was, he told me I had no choice but to get radiation and chemo. Well, I knew my patient's rights, and I knew, in fact, I had a choice. So I fired my oncologist, and it put me on the path of research. What I was searching for that point in time was longevity and a great quality of life for the rest of my life. I have decided to listen to my own heart, my own gut, my spirit, they were screaming to me that I wasn’t going to survive that radiation and chemo. So from my research, I realized that could have longevity, and I could have a great quality of life, but it did require the restoration of my immune system. So I researched who did the restoration of the immune system and who did it the best, and the best way that can explain it or describe it. I was just drawn to New Hope Unlimited. I did treat at New Hope Unlimited in March of 2016 after being diagnosed December of 2015 and my experience at new hope was amazing the medical team was truly the best of the best worldwide, and the staff was so loving and caring, and it was such healing and positive atmosphere. Through their patented origination medicine and through the restoration of my immune system, my immune system was restored. I have never had radiation, I have never had chemo but even though I was a grade 3, which is a very aggressive and fast-spreading type of cancer cell, and even though I was a triple-negative which is the most resistant to the chemical-based treatments, I now have no evidence of disease I was able to get remission the same year that I started treatment. So what I’d like to this to say to you is this, if you did get the worst news ever, like I did, just know this, you do have a choice don't let anyone tell you that you don't because I'm living proof of that and also don't let them use your diagnosis against you and use scare tactics so that you fear cancer; because if you fear cancer then you’ll do anything even accelerate the disease process and make matters worse. Take your time, do your research and don't lose hope, because when you have hope, hope can turn to faith, and we know what faith can do. It can not only move mountains, and it can totally kick cancer’s butt, and I’m living proof of that. Thank you and God Bless.
